Welcome to HSnake, a fast-paced evolution of the classic snake game.
Slither around the arena, eat glowing orbs, and grow larger with every bite. Outsmart NPC snakes who hunt and dodge intelligently, and rise to the top of the leaderboard!

💻 Download & Install Instructions

Step 1 — Install Python

  1. Go to 👉 https://www.python.org/downloads/

  2. Download and install Python 3.10 or newer

  3. Check “Add Python to PATH” during installation

  4. Verify by opening Command Prompt (or Terminal) and typing: 

    python --version

Step 2 — Run the Game

  1. Download the .zip file from this page

  2. Unzip it to any folder

  3. Open that folder and run: 

    python snake_game.py

  4. If you see an error about “tkinter” or “pillow”, install them: 

    pip install tk pillow

Step 3 — Play!

  • Control your snake with your mouse

  • Eat food to grow

  • Avoid hitting other snakes

  • Press ESC to pause or return to the menu
